Opto-Precision Pte Ltd was established in April 2003 to supply optical components and to provide services in precision optical coating (thin film).  The staff was previously from a government funded thin film coating laboratory (PSB), researching into ion-assisted deposition process since 1995.  The former was also involved in the design and manufacture of polymer optics.  Led by a team of highly skilled and strongly committed workforce, Opto-Precison has produced a wide spectrum of precision optical products for the industry. Opto-Precision maintains strong ties with PSB Corporation, Universities, Research Institutes, Economic Development Board of Singapore (EDB), and Photonics Association Singapore.  Opto-Precision's customers range from start-ups to multi-nationals.

We are strategically located in the largest industrial estate in Singapore (Jurong) with a total floor area of 12,000 square feet.  Our coating facility is housed in a clean environment and our thin film coatings meets the stringent requirement of a wide range of industries.  Our state-of-the-art advanced plasma ion-assisted coating equipments are capable of producing very sophisticated coatings.  Our expertise in ion-assisted deposition and polymer coated substrates has enable us to supply products that not only meet but surpasses our customer's requirements.

We value-add to our clients in many ways.  We value-add by helping our clients to manage their cost and/or enhances the value of their products.

We provide them with a quality and competitive source of optical components.  We are also located near to many electronic manufacturing services providers and thus minimises the movement of goods and, hence the shipping costs.  Another way that we value-add is providing new product development support to our customers.  We are able to provide them with optical coating design and the supply of engineering samples.

The optical coatings that we provide will also help to enhance the performance or cosmetic appearance of our clients' products.  For example, with anti-reflection coating applied to transparent surfaces, light is more efficiently uses as there is lesser reflection.  Metallic coating of different colors, with mirror or half-mirror finishing, can enhance the appearance of plastic products such as handphone or PDA casings.
