Polymer or Plastic optics offers complex optical designs to be fulfilled offering more choices and flexibility for incorporation of Aspherical or other complicated geometric surfaces. Another advantage is that they are light  and does not shatter as compared to glass.

Polymer Materials that we have experience in are COC, Zeonex, Ultem, Polycarbonate, Polystyrene and hybrid PMMA. Our Coatings on polymer / plastic optics cover Anti-Reflection (AR), Filter Coating (depending on specifications) & half-mirror effect. To ensure durability and improved scratch resistance of the coated Polymer Substrates, we also have in house capability to provide Hard Coating as well.

Broadband Anti Reflection (AR) Coatings R < 0.5% 420 to 680 nm, AOI=0° to 5°

Ultra Broadband AR coating on polymer substrate R < 1.5% average @ 400 nm - 1000 nm, AOI=0° to 5°
